Upcoming Fundraising Events
Firstly, I’d like to apologise to anyone that has tried to email me over the past month and had their email rejected. This was due to a problem with the email server, which has hopefully now been resolved. If you had an email rejected, or are unsure if an email got through, please resend.
September
On the 27th of September Michael Kerr will be running the Loch Ness Marathon, and has chosen Dnipro Kids to benefit from his fundraising efforts.
Michael has a Just Giving Fundraising Page set up for the event, which will also add Gift Aid to any donations made.

Don’t forget the Open Evening on the 25th of September!
Entry is free and all that we ask is that you to book your place in advance to assist us with the numbers for catering. It’s an excellent opportunity to hear about the exploits of the orphanage children during their Dnipro Kids trip to Kiev.
We’ll be laying on a Ukrainian buffet at the event, providing you with a number of tasty Ukrainian dishes to sample while you wander round and chat. The bar will also be opened up and you’ll have the opportunity to sample some Ukrainian beer, or more local ones if you prefer.
In order to assist with the catering for the evening we’d be grateful if you could RSVP me at steven@dniprokids.com to let us know whether you are able to attend, and how many are coming.
Please note that this is NOT a fundraising event. It’s an opportunity for all of us at Dnipro Kids to personally meet everyone.
October
On Friday the 30th of October we we’ll be hosting our Annual Charity Dinner at Easter Road Stadium. Bookings for tables are being taken now by Jackie Beer jackie@dniprokids.com.
It’s shaping up to be another excellent event and, with Hibs not playing until the Sunday, we are expecting representatives from both the management staff and playing staff to be in attendance.
Upcoming Events in Ukraine
In September we’ll be taking all of the children from the family orphanages to Kiev for four days of events and excursions.
All the kids will travel to Kiev by train, along with the orphanage ‘parents’, and are due to arrive in Kiev early on the 3rd of September.
We have a full itinerary of events during their stay in Kiev and we are pretty sure that they are going to have an excellent time there.
